Stadium of Flying Athletes

Did anyone else watch the opening ceremony for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing tonight/last night? It was directed by Zhang Yimou, director of Imageyenation favorites 'Hero', 'House of Flying Daggers' and 'Curse of the Golden Flower', and aside from the awful announcing team of Bob Costas and Matt Lauer it was impressive.

Peep the torch lighting ceremony for a glimpse at some of the wire work that was employed throughout the night:
