The members of the Imageyenation Collective, like music. We also like sexy people. So, every day this week the individual members of the Imageyenation team will post our personal lists featuring the ten sexiest music-related people we can think of. Sexy...

I thought this list would be a piece of cake so I started to jot down some names and within 5 minutes I was well over 10 people. Maybe it's because I have an eclectic view on the term sexy, which is not necessarily based on looks but the personality, ambitions, and the vibe of the individual. So without further adieu and in no particular order, besides alphabetically, here are my top 10 sexy people.

David Bowie

I can't help it but I'm automatically attracted to guys who appear "androgynous," transgender, wear creative outfits, and makeup. One of the first acclaimed artists to strut his "glamorous" side was Mr. David Robert Jones otherwise known as David Bowie. Ever since I saw him in the 'Labyrinth' I've become infatuated with the man. He's smart, has a sexy voice, tall, English, creative, has a great sense of fashion, which may be do to his beautiful wife model Iman Abdulmajd, and can wear makeup better than myself.

Jeff Buckley

I can't say enough about this man. I love everything about him. If my friend hadn't introduced me to his music back in 1995 I think part of me would be lost. He’s helped me cope through relationships, inspired my creativity and help me escape reality by listening his voice which is one of the most amazing voices I've heard. Though I was lost when I found out about his death in 1997 and still to this day wonder what other masterpieces he would have created. Despite his death I'm grateful Jeff Buckley's legacy has lived through movies, TV shows, and other artists talking about him or doing their spin off of his songs. If I could chose an album to take to me on a deserted Island it would be Jeff Buckley's 'Grace.'

Common

If it's one man my mother and I can actually agree on being sexy it's Common. I seriously can't look at any pictures of him without thinking naughty thoughts about how I'd like to….well use your imagination. I'm not sure how long our relationship would last because I'd just let him get away with murder if he batted those gorgeous brown eyes and sang to me. He's also a vegetarian and PETA activist. I have a thing for gifted vegetarian men who shave their head. Look at those eyes…someone hand me a towel.

Carols D

He sort of looked like an Emo, Gothic version of George Mcfly, but now
Interpol bassist Carlos Dengler is rocking a fantastic new look. I actually did a double take and thought Interpol had a new band member. I think it's the year of the stash and Carlos has a jump-start on the trend. Carlos is one of those guys I'd crush on in art school but was too busy practicing in the basement with his band and preferred a girl that he could share jeans, smoke and throw back a pack of PBRs with. Not really my idea of fun but either way he's still sexy.

Jean-Benoit Dunckel

I'm including Air's Jean-Benoit Dunckel, also known as Darkel, because I recently had a dream about him. We were just lying in bed together, clothed I swear, or maybe he had his shirt off, talking about stuff, I don't remember, but I felt like we understood one another possibly because we're both Virgos and have the French connection going. Why did I have a dream about him? Maybe I was thinking about an Air song, saw him on TV or it's the fact that I can't resist a sexy Frenchmen. What ever it may be Dunkel and other band member Nicolas Godin need to call me up for peu d'amour faisant or ménage à trios as we say! Oh la la!

Adam Jones

I find Tool's guitarist Adam Jones sexy in a variety of ways. Number one: He's an amazing guitarist who puts me in a trance whenever I hear him go on a guitar tangent. Two: I find mysterious "odd" looking men attractive for some reason, I even find Steve Buscemi attractive, but I won't go there. Three: He's a brilliant artist whose work I admire. I didn't know Jones directed and created several Tool videos until recently and anyone who has a twisted vision like I do with my art I'm instantly drawn too. Adam lets get in touch and make some stop motion videos of deformed beings slicing each other up and eating babies who then turn into squids.

One of my favorite videos done my Adam is "Schimsm."

Madonna

Love her, hate her, she doesn't care. She's Madonna, the "queen of pop." I decided to include Madonna because she was one of the first musicians in my music collection as well as the first women I saw on MTV who wasn't ashamed to be who she was; a sexual diva. A majority of music videos I saw in the 80's portrayed women as the submissive "eye candy" type while Madonna's videos were the opposite. She was the dominant figure and all the men were her objects. I couldn't help but be drawn to her sexual aura. Taboo in the 80's but now it's quite common to see artists like Cristina Aguilera, or Brittney Spears flaunting their stuff in their music videos. Madonna, I salute you for being a material girl, wearing those cone bras and not being ashamed to "express" yourself.

Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement.

Newly added to my sexy list are 'Flight of the Conchords' Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement. The show is based on Mckenzie and Clement, a two-man band from New Zealand who move to New York to break into the music industry. Throughout each show these two go into a singing montage about anything and everything from girls, to robots, to well, you name it. I admit when I saw the first episode of 'Flight of the Conchords' on HBO I thought it was the lamest thing ever, but I thought the guys were cute, so I decided to have a second "date" and watch the next episode. It began to grow on me and I found myself laughing at the quirky humor of the show and creative songs. You don’t need HBO to see the latest episodes. Instead you can see them here.

John Travolta

I had to add John Travolta to the list because I did have a crush on him when he was Danny Zuko in 'Grease', but after I saw him put on a fat suit, wear makeup and prance around in ladies outfits, which I'm sure he enjoyed, for the musical movie remake 'Hairspray' I knew he needed to be added to the list. Though I'm not sure I can take him seriously anymore since every time I hear his name or see him all I can picture is him dressed up as a big woman with man hands like the picture you see above.
