New head for Japan gang

I'm not sure if it came out of the vagina of a lady as in 'Gozu,' but it'll be in charge of the Yamaguchi-gumi "yakuza" family.

As an "aniki" to all yakuza and the "wakagashira" of Imageyenation.com this is a very proud moment. I will celebrate with a young whore, some more irezumi and some bubble tea.

UFO Freeway Above Earth

Interesting - I might look into this to speed up my commute in the morning.

Ted Anderson says 50 miles above the earth, there's a veritable UFO expressway he calls the UFO Freeway Portal Location.

"Myself and thousands of friends have been watching it since 1968," says Anderson. "Motherships come from other worlds to drop off their planetary ships to come to Earth."

Where are they from? What's their purpose? Anderson can only speculate.

"This is a security force created by some super being organization or civilization."

Your website would be "da bomb" if you had the gecko do the robot

The Mitsubishi-Heavy Industries company has announced that a 3.3 foot tall, 66 pound, human-like robot called Wakamaru will go on sale for about $14,300 ( US ) in Japan in September.

The "Wakamaru" robot can recognize the faces of up to 10 people and talk to them. When linked to mobile phones, it can also work as a monitor to check situations at home, such as a burglary or someone falling ill, Mitsubishi-Heavy Industries Ltd. said in a statement Monday.

Mitsubishi-Heavy said it would be the first time a robot with communication ability for home use has been sold.

"This is the opening of an era in which human beings and robots can coexist," it said.

Yeah, until all those robots smarten up and decide to go "matrix" on our asses!

And you probably thought this story was gonna be about a new porn site where reptiles have sex with mechanized beings, didn't you?

God hates fags so much that he's forcing George W. Bush to kill your children!

Or at least that would seem to be the position being advocated by the Westboro Baptists in Kansas who interrupted the funerals of two Tennessee soldiers killed in Iraq with home-made signs and shouts of "God hates fags" and "God hates you" this Saturday.

"My husband is over there, so I'm here to show my support," 41-year-old Connie Ditmore said as she waved and American flag and as tears came to her eyes. "To do this at a funeral is disrespectful of a family, no matter what your beliefs are."

The Rev. Fred Phelps, founder of Westboro Baptist in Kansas, contends that American soldiers are being killed in Iraq as vengeance from God for protecting a country that harbors gays. The church, which is not affiliated with a larger denomination, is made up mostly of Phelps' children, grandchildren and in-laws.

The protesters were allegedly greeted with flag-waving and shouts of "God bless America," which should illustrate to anybody with even a modicum of sense the usefulness of a thing like the "separation between church and state." Because when Americans start fighting Americans over who God does and doesn't bless it's inevitable that we'll all lose.

American Legion declares War on Americans?

In a move that proves American "freedoms" are worth killing foreigners for, but not worth exercising here at home, the 2.7 million members of the American Legion passed a resolution declaring war on any and all American protesters and even organizers who would publicly protest or openly criticize "the president of the United States, the United States Congress and the men, women and leadership of our armed forces as they are engaged in the global war on terrorism and the troops who are engaged in protecting our values and way of life" at their national convention in Honolulu, Hawaii, earlier this week.

Without mentioning any current protestor, such as Cindy Sheehan, by name, Cadmus recalled: "For many of us, the visions of Jane Fonda glibly spouting anti-American messages with the North Vietnamese and protesters denouncing our own forces four decades ago is forever etched in our memories. We must never let that happen again….

"We had hoped that the lessons learned from the Vietnam War would be clear to our fellow citizens. Public protests against the war here at home while our young men and women are in harm's way on the other side of the globe only provide aid and comfort to our enemies."

Now don't get me wrong, I don't really find a bunch of cranky old men who spend most of their time at the lodge getting wasted threatening to "use whatever means necessary" to "ensure the united backing of the American people to support our troops and the global war on terrorism" all that menacing.

However, I am disturbed that a group of people who swore to uphold the constitution (as members and former members of the Armed Services they would have had to have taken such an oath, no?) would even suggest that they'd take any action (much less violent or militaristic action) against their fellow Americans in an attempt to prevent them from exercising their constitutional rights none-the-less.
